How Can You Stop Targeting Mobile Apps?

Display campaigns can help you to reach millions of audiences across different channels and you may reach 93% of all active users through display campaigns. But, mobile apps is the tricky part and usually I don't suggest people using that except when they are promoting their own app. A look through many accounts shows I’m not alone.

Stop targeting mobile apps
If you don’t want your ads to show in apps, you can target the web exclusively.
First step: Sign in to your Google Ads account.

Second Step: From the navigation panel, click Display campaigns.



Step Three: Select the campaign you want to edit. From the page menu, click Settings.


Step Four: Click Additional settings.


Step Five: Click Devices.


Step Six: In "Set specific targeting for devices" uncheck the boxes next to “Mobile app”, “Mobile app interstitial”, “Tablet app”, and “Tablet app interstitial”. 


You are all set. Now, you ads will not show up in mobile apps.
